1. Players place their own pucks on the table. Then they take up playing position on the opposite site of the table and the player, who is the first in the previosly determinated starting order, puts his striker in the edge zone and strikes it with the cue, aiming at the pucks.
2. After the pucks have been arranged on the table, the players should clean off the extra powder from the surface of the table. It can also be done during the game, if necessary.
3. Players place their pucks on the table in a row, touching adjacent pucks and the edge board, four on each side of the centre line.
